Kindergarten + First Grade Box Opportunity
We have 13,000 boxes to fold and fill and need your help! These boxes will hold school supplies and go straight into the hands of our district's kindergarten and first grade students. If you are open to doing some repetitive tasks to ensure our students feel supported on the first day of school, then this opportunity is for you. Help put joy, dignity, and learning tools on every desk—day one.
This year, MNPS is expanding its former Kindergarten Box initiative to include both kindergarten and first‑grade students—reaffirming our commitment to Every Student Known and ensuring each child feels seen, supported, and ready to thrive. This is an initiative that removes financial barriers for families and creates joyful, stress‑free first days of school.
