Disaster
Hands On collaborates with the Nashville Office of Emergency Management and the United Way of Greater Nashville to support preparedness and response efforts for a wide variety of natural and man-made disasters throughout Middle Tennessee. In a disaster, Hands On organizes and manages volunteer projects, and provides support to the grassroots organizations on the ground providing critical relief and recovery services in the affected neighborhoods.

The HON AmeriCorps Program
The Hands On Nashville AmeriCorps Program engages civic-minded individuals in yearlong terms of public service. AmeriCorps members are part of a cohort that receives skills training, professional development, and networking opportunities through a partnership between HON and participating AmeriCorps Program agencies.

The Mary Catherine Strobel Volunteer Awards
The Mary Catherine Strobel Volunteer Awards are Middle Tennessee's largest annual celebration of volunteerism. Nominees, finalists, and recipients are celebrated at a luncheon attended by 600-plus guests. The event is held in partnership with the family of Mary Catherine Strobel, a community volunteer best remembered and honored for her tireless, joyful commitment to those in need.
