Youth & Teens

Volunteering is a great way for young people to influence their futures not only through personal growth, but by becoming the change they want to see in their communities. Whether you are looking for ways to support a cause you care about, develope a new skill, or find something to do with your friends, Hands On has several ways to get involved. Whatever you choose, make sure you download, complete and bring the Hands On waiver with you to your project.

Volunteering for School Credit?

  • Register for volunteer opportunities through our opportunity calendar so that we can track your hours.
  • Fill out and bring the Hands On waiver to your volunteering project.
  • If your school requires you to complete a school volunteering form, bring that with you as well.
  • Be sure to check in with the Volunteer Leader when you get to your project, and have them sign any forms needed at the end of the shift.

Note: The online privacy of children is important to us. Hands On accounts are restricted to individuals 13 and older. If your child is under 13 and would like to volunteer, please browse options for families volunteering together. You may also conduct an advanced search and note your child's age in the field marked Appropriate For.
