Hillsboro Back-to-School Bash
Join us in helping welcome students and families back for a successful school year at the Hillsboro Cluster Back-to-School Bash!
On July 29, Hillsboro High School will host hundreds of students and families from across the cluster for an afternoon of resources, information, and community connection. Volunteers play a vital role in making this event a success and ensuring every family feels welcomed, supported, and prepared for the first day of school.
Volunteer opportunities include assisting with event setup (tables, tents, and vendor support), greeting and directing families, distributing backpacks, food bags, and other essential resources, and helping with event breakdown at the end of the day. Every role—before, during, and after the event—is critical to creating a positive experience for students and families.
This outdoor event will take place on the Hillsboro High School track, so volunteers should dress comfortably for the summer heat.
By volunteering, you'll help advance Metro Nashville Public Schools' vision that every student starts the school year equipped with the resources, information, and support they need to succeed. You'll also help strengthen connections between schools, families, and community partners while making valuable resources more accessible to those who need them most.
