About Us
The Hendersonville Samaritan Association is the crisis assistance agency serving Hendersonville, Tennessee. Through the generosity of our community, 100% of the funds generated by our 8,000-square-foot Samaritan Thrift Store are reinvested directly into local families and individuals facing hardship.
Our ministry provides emergency food assistance through our food bank, crisis intake services, resource referrals, and financial assistance for qualifying residents. Every day, we work to connect people with the help, hope, and resources they need during difficult times.
Volunteer Opportunity
Volunteers are the heart of our organization. Our daily operations depend on a dedicated team of volunteers working alongside paid staff to serve our neighbors in need.
Volunteer opportunities may include:
- Sorting, organizing, and pricing donated merchandise
- Assisting customers in our thrift store
- Stocking shelves and organizing inventory
- Helping process donations
- Supporting food bank operations
- Assisting with special events and seasonal drives
- Administrative and office support
- Welcoming visitors and helping connect clients with available resources
