Kids Cafe
Supporting children and families with a warm meal and a welcoming space is one of the simplest and most meaningful ways to strengthen community in Nashville. Kids Café at the Martha O’Bryan Center provides a weekly opportunity for neighborhood children and their families to come together after school, share a hot meal, and connect in a safe, supportive environment.
We are seeking compassionate volunteers who want to show up consistently for our kids and help create a space where they feel cared for and seen.
Volunteer responsibilities include:
- Serving hot meals to children and families
- Assisting with setup and clean up before and after Kids Café
- Engaging with children through conversation, encouragement, and positive interaction during meal time and play
- Supporting a welcoming, respectful environment for all guests
Kids Café happens every Monday after school and is more than just a meal—it’s a chance to build relationships, offer stability, and be a consistent, caring presence in the lives of local children.
