Promising Scholars: Supply Sorting & Packing
We are excited to invite volunteers to support Metro Nashville Public Schools Promising Scholars, an impactful summer initiative that serves thousands of MNPS students across the district each year. This program helps students continue learning, stay engaged, and enter the next school year ready to succeed. To make this possible, we need your help preparing and organizing essential school supplies that will be distributed to participating sites this summer.
Please note: Hillwood is not an active school site but serves as a MNPS storage facility where we will be sorting and preparing materials.
During this work session, volunteers will help:
- Break down and organize pallets of school supplies
- Sort and package materials needed for summer program sites
- Prepare shipments to ensure schools receive what they need on time
Your support directly ensures that classrooms across Nashville are fully equipped for a successful summer of learning. Every box prepared helps remove barriers for students and allows educators to focus on what matters most—supporting and inspiring young learners.
