State Basketball Tournament
Join us at the 2026 State Basketball Tournament with Special Olympics Tennessee!
Athletes from across the state will come together for a powerful day of competition, teamwork, and inclusion, and we need YOU to help make it happen. Volunteers support athletes, assist with event operations, and help create an unforgettable experience.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Fri. (03/06) | 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Venue Set-Up
Help set up tables, hang banners, and prepare the space for an amazing tournament. Then stay for the Cheer Tunnel at Opening Ceremonies from 2:45 PM – 3:15 PM and help us give athletes an unforgettable welcome as they enter!
Sat. (03/07) | 10:30 AM – 11:45 AM
Junior Athletes | Support Crew
Celebrate athletes ages 6–12 as they rotate through basketball skill stations and practice games in an encouraging beginner environment.
Sat. (03/07) | 3:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Court Crew
Assist with timekeeping and scorekeeping during tournament play.
Basketball experience is a bonus, but all volunteers will receive on-site training to feel confident and ready.
