Meals in Motion - Manna Mobile Cafe (Lincoln Homes)
About the event
Manna Cafe’s Mobile Cafe provides hot dinners to our homeless neighbors and others in need throughout Montgomery County. This program is more than just a meal, it is about connecting people and community. The Mobile Cafe operates at 3 different locations in Clarksville on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. In 2024 Manna Cafe provided over 42,000 meals to those in need.
What will volunteers do?
Volunteers will help serve hot meals to individuals and families, help with set-up and clean-up as needed, and offer a welcoming and compassionate environment for all who come. Volunteers have the opportunity to build meaningful connections with those we serve, while also directly addressing food insecurity in our community. For many of our guests, this may be the only hot meal they receive that day.
What will volunteers need to bring or wear?
Please wear modest clothing and closed-toed shoes.
