Volunteer to Support Our Community Distribution
Volunteers will be assigned a role based on need. Roles may include:
• Loading boxes into vehicles
• Assisting families with carrying bags, meat, and other items
• Serving food and drinks
• Helping with clean-up of the space
What to Know Before You Arrive
• Closed-toed shoes are required
• Please wear warm, weather-appropriate clothing
• Be prepared to lift light to moderate items
• Expect to be standing and moving for portions of your shift
• Arrive on time so assignments and safety instructions can be given
Day-Of Details
• Check in upon arrival to receive your role
• Follow staff direction to ensure a smooth and safe distribution
• Be respectful, patient, and kind to all families and fellow volunteers
• If you need to leave early or have a physical limitation, please let a staff member know
Safety Note
• Please notify a team lead if you notice any safety concerns or need assistance
• Volunteers working directly with families should avoid taking photos unless approved
