Weed Wrangle at Mill Ridge Park
Join Friends of Mill Ridge Park and Mill Creek Watershed Association to remove invasive species at the park as a part of the national Weed Wrangle® event. This is accomplished via hands-on removal of especially harmful trees, vines, and flowering plants.
Supervised by volunteer leaders in invasive weed management, participants can expect to learn about effective removal techniques and replanting with native species alternatives while having fun.
Weed Wrangle®, is a one-day, citywide, volunteer effort to help rescue our public parks and green spaces from invasive species through hands-on removal of especially harmful trees, vines and flowering plants.
