Joseph Wooten
A 3-time Grammy Award–nominated artist, Joseph Wooten is a keyboardist, vocalist, composer, producer, educator, author, and motivational speaker whose career embodies groove, joy, and purpose. Since 1993, he has been the keyboardist and vocalist for the Steve Miller Band, performing on the world’s largest stages, while also maintaining a powerful presence as a bandleader with his own ensemble, The Hands of Soul.
We need 4 volunteers to:
- Set up tables with tea lights
- Greet guests
- Seat guests
- Host concessions counter (canned beverages and snacks)
- Clean-up at end of performance
Arrival: Volunteers are asked to arrive a few minutes before 6:00pm to huddle and receive specific event prep details and assignments.
Attire: Volunteers are asked to wear black/dark shirt, black/dark pants, black/dark shoes. No logos, bright colors or baseball caps, please.
Performance: Volunteers are invited to attend and enjoy the performance 10 minutes after the event starts.

The mission of the Nashville Jazz Workshop is to enrich people’s lives and build community through world class jazz education and performances. We accomplish our mission through a workshop environment where jazz professionals pass on their knowledge & experience in a journeyman/apprentice situation, classes for players & non-players, and performances to promote community appreciation of jazz.
