Winter Storm Shelter Volunteers #winterstorm26
The American Red Cross is seeking volunteers to support shelter operations for the winter storm response. No prior experience required, a just-in-time training will be provided.
Volunteers can expect to
- Provide comfort and support to people who have been displaced from their homes
- Assist with various tasks at the shelter including welcoming guests, registration, serving meals and providing information/resources
- Receive free online training to prepare you for the role
- Capable of meeting physical requirements such as lifting 40 pounds, sitting or standing for 2-hour periods, walking 2 miles during a shift and climbing stairs

Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age:18+
