Emergency Shelter Volunteer Training
Interested in volunteering in Emergency Shelter with our young adults this year? Then join us for a virtual, 1 hour and 20-minute training session. We will review Launch Pad's mission and programs, homelessness statistics, LGBTQ+ terminology, and what to expect during volunteer shifts. These trainings will be offered weekly from October-March. Once you have expressed interest, we will send you a link with the specific dates so that you can sign up for the time that works best for you!
IMPORTANT: This is a virtual training opportunity, not a shelter shift. This training is required to sign up for any future Emergency Shelter volunteer opportunities with Nashville Launch Pad.
Nashville Launch Pad's mission is to create a network of temporary, safer, street-free sleeping shelters for unhoused young adults which are open and affirming to LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age:18+
