Kitchen Crew - Teens Only 2026
The Heimerdinger Foundation provides nutrient-rich meals, free of charge, to patients fighting cancer through our Meals 4 Health and Healing program. The Heimerdinger Foundation seeks a volunteer to deliver meals to assigned Meals 4 Health & Healing program clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Washing, chopping and preparing vegetables and herbs
- Sanitizing Kitchen Containers
- Assisting with cooking and packaging Meals 4 Health and Healing recipes under the guidance of our Chef
- Assisting with cleaning the kitchen which includes washing and sanitizing dishes
Requirements and Time Commitment
- Must complete volunteer application before volunteering
- Must be able to volunteer the entire shift
Qualifications
- 13 years-19 years
- positive energy
- dependable
- punctual,
- be able to stand for a long periods of time
- lift at least 25 pounds
- willingness to work as a team
