GeekCause Volunteer Orientation

Ready to use your tech skills for good? Join Hands On for an inside look at how you can make an impact through our GeekCause program! GeekCause connects skilled volunteers like you with local nonprofits that need technical expertise.

This 45-minute virtual session will cover:

  • How GeekCause works: Our process for matching volunteers with projects that fit your skills and schedule.

  • What to expect during a project: Typical timelines, communication expectations, and resources to ensure success.

  • Other perks of being a GeekCause volunteer: Networking opportunities, real-world portfolio building, and the chance to strengthen the community using your expertise.

A Hands On representative will send you a Microsoft Teams link prior to the session.
