Thanksgiving Community Meal Help #sharing
Join us as we come together to serve love, warmth, and community this Thanksgiving season!
Now Opportunities Can Exist (NOCX) is sponsoring and serving 100–150 Thanksgiving meals for individuals and families experiencing homelessness and food insecurity.
There will be two locations providing services. All volunteers will be meeting at the church first to help get the distribution site set up. Once the church site is ready, volunteers will be serving hot meals to community members and families in need. Another group of volunteers will be shuttled to a secondary location at the library, where they will be distributing meals and essential items to unhoused individuals in that surrounding area.
Together, both teams will make sure our neighbors across Nashville receive nourishment, care, and connection this Thanksgiving.
Volunteer Roles:
- Help with meal prep, table setup, and packing meals for delivery
- Assist with plating, serving, and providing a welcoming space for guests
- Distribute meals, hygiene kits, and community resource information until supplies last
