Free Hearts Summerbridge
Free Hearts is excited to host our annual Summerbridge Program for children ages 5–17, and we need your help! Our Summerbridge Program creates a safe, supportive space for children impacted by incarceration. Through life skills workshops, arts and crafts, goal setting activities, and healthy group engagement, we are building stronger, brighter futures and we can’t do it without you!
Volunteers will be asked to:
- assist with child check-in and pick-up
- help oversee activities
- help with lunch
Lunch will be provided each day for all volunteers.
Program Dates:
- Week 1: June 2–6
- Week 2: June 9–13
Volunteers can join for one day, or every day! While a formal background check is not required, individuals with any convictions related to child charges are not permitted to volunteer.
If you're passionate about making a difference, this is an opportunity you won’t want to miss. Come be a part of something truly special, volunteer with us and help change lives!
Free Hearts is an organization led by formerly incarcerated women that provides support, education, and advocacy to families impacted by incarceration, with the ultimate goals of reuniting families and keeping families together.
