Virtual Volunteer Grant Program Assistance

We are seeking experienced grant writers or grant program administrators to help in the following areas:
1) Reviewing current LOIs and content used for current grant program and help modify as needed
2) Reviewing existing research on foundations we would like to pursue to determine the best foundations to apply to and help develop a strategy to approach these foundations
3) Assisting in completing new grant applications
4) Developing a 6-12 month calendar listing foundations to target and identify applications and/or LOIs to be completed along with any other required information. The calendar should outline the applications to be submitted each month, including special considerations for each foundation, and recommendations for grant amounts to request.

2nd Chance 4 Pets’ mission is to help pet owners plan for the possibility that their pets might outlive them. The all-virtual-volunteer nonprofit provides resources and lifetime pet care solutions to pet owners, veterinarians, and members of animal welfare organizations to ensure the lifetime care of companion animals. We are committed to providing pet owners with information that will help them plan for their pet’s continued care should their pets outlive them. Volunteers will make an impact by assisting with virtual projects, which help to prevent unnecessary euthanasia and reduce the strain on overburdened animal shelters and rescue organizations, while also providing pet owners peace of mind.
