April Storms Canvassing - #aprilstorms25
Volunteers are needed to share information about resources available to people affected by the recent severe storms in Montgomery County.
Canvassing an affected neighborhood includes knocking on individual doors to assess current needs and provide information about resources available to them. This first step is important to coordinate volunteer projects (i.e., debris removal, chainsaw work, tarping, muck & gutting). Volunteers will be working in groups, and not approaching houses alone.
Hands On will provide water and snacks for volunteers throughout the project. Exact addresses will be provided at least 12 hours prior to the shift start time.
