December 9 Tornado Recovery

Many thanks to everyone who participated in or donated to Hands On and VOAD response efforts following the December 9 tornadoes across Middle Tennessee. Because of you, everyone who requested assistance with debris removal in Davidson County has received help.

Our neighbors in Clarksville experienced significant damage, and cleanup efforts are still underway. Hands On | United Way of Greater Nashville Chief Volunteerism Officer Lori Shinton is chairing a long-term recovery group to ensure that the needs of survivors are met. It may take years to recover, and we are committed to being here for our neighbors throughout the process.
