MLK Days of Service 2015: Protecting & Serving Our Neighbors
Dates: 1/17/2015 - 1/19/2015
"Everybody can be great...because anybody can serve." - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Each day, our city’s community centers connect Nashvillians of all ages with valuable resources. This January, celebrate Dr. King’s legacy and join Hands On Nashville to brighten and improve four Metro Parks Community Centers with a fresh coat of paint.
More than 800 volunteers are needed on Saturday, Jan. 17 and Monday, Jan. 19 to support these important neighborhood spaces. Join us!
Hate to paint, but love to help? Join us Saturday morning from 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. to prepare the community centers for painting. Volunteers will clean, arrange furniture, tape-off walls, and get everything ready for a nice fresh coat of paint.
