Community Housing Partnership of Williamson County
http://communityhousing.info/Community Housing Partnership (CHP) is public/private joint venture that achieves quality, affordable housing for elderly, low income, disabled and work force families of Williamson County. In addition to renting homes and creating homeownership opportunities, CHP continues to aid low income, elderly and disabled homeowners with home repairs, maintenance, and restoration. CHP helps 100+ homeowners in Williamson County each year. Projects often include handicap ramps, plumbing and heating and air repairs, painting, light carpentry and other miscellaneous emergency repairs. Volunteer groups are essential to the success of these projects as they provide the labor with CHP providing the supplies. By working together, the community is enabling homeowners a safer living environment and a higher quality of life.
