http://www.tacnashville.org/The mission of the Technology Access Center is to promote the independence and participation of individuals of all ages with disabilities in school, work, play and every day activities through their use of assistive technology. Center services aim to redefine human potential by making technology a regular part of people’s lives. Opportunities are provided for them, their family members, and professionals who work in disability services, to learn about, choose, acquire, and use assistive and mainstream technology. The focus is on assistive technology which helps people to learn, communicate, carry out activities of daily living, control their environment, and work.
