Daybreak Arts is a Nashville-based social enterprise nonprofit that creates artistic and economic opportunities for adults experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. We provide access to the creative resources, community, and professional support artists need to build stability, confidence, and long-term success.
Our Artist Collective program offers a fully equipped art studio, quality supplies, business and artistic workshops, and gallery exhibition opportunities at no cost to our artists. We proudly represent a diverse community of creators—self-taught artists, trained professionals, and everyone in between—who work across mediums such as painting, drawing, photography, jewelry, fiber arts, mixed media, sewing, and more.
What makes Daybreak Arts unique is our collective + marketplace model. Artists maintain creative autonomy while gaining a supportive place to create and sell their work. Art purchases directly support each artist’s income and help sustain the studio resources, supplies, and training that keep our program free.
Volunteers play a key role in helping our artists thrive—whether supporting exhibitions, assisting in the studio, or helping with community events. By volunteering with Daybreak Arts, you help create a safe, empowering space where creativity becomes a pathway to stability and opportunity.
