Volunteer Tech Mentor for Aspiring Developers Post-Release
Become a Tech Mentor with Persevere!
Tech Mentors provide critical one-on-one guidance to individuals launching careers in technology after incarceration. These participants have completed our core technology training program and are eager to build on their new skills.
As a Tech Mentor, you’ll be matched with a mentee based on your technical expertise and availability. Together, you’ll meet virtually once a week to dive into real-world coding challenges, explore tech tools, and strengthen professional portfolios. Your support will help bridge the gap from training to thriving employment.
This is an ideal opportunity for tech professionals who are passionate about mentoring, familiar with industry tools, and committed to fostering growth in a supportive, nonjudgmental way. A minimum commitment of one hour per week for three months is required, with the option to continue beyond.
