Food Box Building - Saturday
Manna Café Ministries has one busy warehouse, and we need your help building food boxes. The base of all the grocery carts that we distribute three days a week to community members in need of food assistance are non-perishable food boxes. On Thursdays and Saturdays, we pre-build those food boxes by packing them with non-perishable items and canned goods. This is the perfect opportunity for individuals or groups.
Note: Our warehouse is not a temperature-controlled environment, so the temperature inside the warehouse will be about the same temperature as it is outside. Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes at all of our volunteer activities. We kindly request that volunteers under 17 years old have adult supervision while volunteering.
Note: This event is held in the bay BEHIND THE WHITE WAREHOUSE. Go to the breezeway behind the warehouse and you will find someone in the open bay.
