Juneteenth Event Volunteer
Come join us for a community-wide event celebrating Juneteenth! This free event will be held on Saturday, June 21from 10:00am-2:00pm, and will feature food, music, a history talk, voter registration, health screenings, and a variety of other community wellness resources. We need volunteers to help with each of the following slots:
- 8:30am-10:00am Set up tables and tents (5 volunteers)
- 9:00am-12:00pm Guest assistant - help direct guests and answer questions (5 volunteers)
- 11:00am -1:30pm Help set up, serve, and clean up after lunch (5 volunteers)
- 1:30pm-3:00pm Help with final cleanup and breakdown of tents and tables (5 volunteers)
Please sign up for the time slot(s) that correspond(s) to your preferred volunteer task. If you are interested in volunteering as a larger group, we can likely accommodate more volunteers than the listed number of slots; please contact Shawna Clay at the above link for more information.
