English Conversation Club - Edmonson Pike Branch
Are you passionate about language, community, and connection? The Edmonson Pike Branch of Nashville Public Library (NPL) is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help lead our English Conversation Club—a welcoming space where non-native English speakers can practice their communication and speaking skills in a relaxed, supportive, and fun environment.
What You’ll Do:
As a volunteer conversation leader, you’ll guide informal, engaging discussions that help participants gain confidence in speaking English while learning about culture and community. No teaching experience is required—just a love of people and a desire to make a difference!
Training & Support:
Before you get started, NPL’s Adult Literacy Program will provide a free, one-hour training session—available in-person or virtually—to prepare you with guidance, resources, and best practices. Plus, a Conversation Club Toolkit is available with ready-to-use materials to help you lead with confidence.
