Concurrence - Jazz on Buchanan

Jazz on Buchanan - Free Summer Concerts are back for 2025

Opening the series are Pianist/keyboardist Paul Horton (Brittany Howard, Alabama Shakes) and bassist/broadcaster Greg Bryant known as,  Concurrence,  who first honed their musical voice in the early 2000’s on Jefferson Street in Nashville, Tennessee.   Indivisible (available on La Reserve Records) represents the duo’s most ambitious album yet: music that sheds light on the Federal Aid Highway Act of 1956 which irrevocably altered Black and Brown communities across the country.  Come hear the beat-driven, improvisational music of Concurrence at the Nashville Jazz Workshop!

Volunteers are needed to help with:

  • Welcoming and guiding Guests
  • Selling canned drinks and snacks
  • Clear & Reset the room at the end of the evening

The mission of the Nashville Jazz Workshop is to enrich people’s lives and build community through world-class jazz education and performances.
