ESL Volunteer Teacher Fall 2025
Conexión Américas is seeking volunteer instructors for our Fall 2025 Adult Education Program. Join us in supporting adult English learners in the Nashville area as they build language skills, confidence, and community.
Our mission is to help the Latinx community in Nashville belong, contribute, and succeed through education, economic development, and civic engagement.
For over 20 years, our Adult Education Program has supported immigrants in strengthening their English skills and reaching their personal and professional goals. As a volunteer instructor, you’ll play a vital role in that journey.
Opportunity Details
Commitment:
- 12-week term: August 19 – November 20, 2025
- Includes orientation and ends with a graduation celebration
Schedule:
- Tuesday and Thursday evenings
- 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM (Central Time)
- Volunteers may choose to teach one or both evenings per week
Format:
- Classes are held online via Zoom
- Curriculum uses the CambridgeOne platform
- Orientation and training provided
Volunteer Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- No certification required; teaching or tutoring experience is helpful
- Reliable internet and access to a computer required
- Comfort with Zoom preferred (training provided)
- Classes are recorded for quality and program policy
