Maplewood Cluster Multicultural Festival
Join the schools of the Maplewood cluster for their Multicultural Festival.
Volunteers will either help with set-up, tear down, or keeping the event running smoothly.
The event will be an exciting celebration of Nashville's diversity for Maplewood cluster students to enjoy, complete with food tastings, performances, and an art installation.
The mission of Communities In Schools (CIS) of Tennessee is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. We are part of the national CIS network, known as the leading and most effective dropout prevention organization in America. We work to remove the non-academic barriers that prevent student success in the classroom; and in partnership with local school districts, we provide daily school-based interventions to students in grades K–12 to address academic failure, truancy, behavioral issues, social service needs and more.
