Volunteer Disaster Action Team Members - Hickman County
Night Owls, have you ever wanted to volunteer with the American Red Cross but didn't know how to get started?
Well, now is your chance to sign up, get trained, and be ready to respond to home fires or natural disasters in your community. Don't wait for something to happen; be prepared to go.
Every day, people are forced from their homes due to fires, storms, or other disasters. As a Disaster Action Team volunteer, you will work as part of an assigned team to provide immediate support and assistance to individuals and families impacted by a home fire or other local disaster. Training is free, but the hope you bring is priceless.
Please note that all volunteers must pass a background check.
