Cybersecurity Measure Implementation for Southern Word
Southern Word is seeking the support of a skilled GeekCause volunteer to perform a cybersecurity assessment addressing the following questions: Does organization implement encryption on laptop computers, desktop computers, and other portable media devices? Does organization use Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for Emails? Does organization enforce Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on Virtual Private Network (VPN), Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), RDWeb, RD Gateway, or other remote access? Does organization enforce Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on network/cloud administration or other privileged user accounts? Does organization maintain at least weekly backups of all sensitive or otherwise critical data and all critical business systems offline or on a separate network? The volunteer would assess each item and navigate Southern Word to economical security solutions and assist with implementation
