Librarian's Assistant - Inglewood Branch Library
The Inglewood Branch Library is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented volunteers to assist our librarians in creating a welcoming and engaging environment for our patrons. As a Librarian’s Assistant, you’ll play an important role in supporting the daily operations of the library and ensuring it runs smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Organizing and shelving books, DVDs, and other library materials
- Assisting with the setup and breakdown of library programs and events
- Supporting patrons with locating materials and basic library inquiries
- Helping maintain the organization and cleanliness of library spaces
- Other light administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Passion for libraries, books, and serving the community
