ESL Volunteer Teacher 2025
Conexión Américas is recruiting volunteer instructors for our Spring 2025 Adult Education Program to teach adult English learners in the Nashville area.
About the Program
For over 20 years, our program has been a lifeline for immigrants seeking to strengthen their English skills, connect with their community, and achieve their goals. By joining us as a volunteer instructor, you’ll play a key role in supporting their journey.
Key Details About the Opportunity
- Commitment: The term spans 12 weeks, starting with an orientation on February 4th and concluding with a graduation celebration on May 1st, 2025.
- Schedule: Classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Volunteers can choose to teach one evening per week, depending on their availability.
- Online Delivery: All classes are conducted virtually via Zoom and use the CambridgeOne platform. Training and orientation will ensure you’re comfortable navigating these tools.
- Support adult learners eager to build their skills and confidence.
- Enjoy flexibility with an online teaching format.

- A passion for helping others.
- Volunteers must be 18 or older.
- Prior teaching experience is recommended but not required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to an online learning environment.
