Outreach Center Lunch Delivery Volunteers
We need volunteers to remotely prepare hot lunch to serve young people experiencing homelessness. Can you help? This is not an in-person volunteer opportunity, and we do not offer community service hours. Volunteers will share the date they are available to drop off the food when they sign up.
- Mondays (delivery between 9:15 - 11 a.m.)
- Fridays (delivery on Thur between 9:15 - 3 p.m. or Friday between 9:15 - 11 a.m.)
We serve lunch when the Outreach Center is open, and we'd like to offer a few homemade meals! We can reheat the lunch to serve that day.
- Lunches can be anything you desire; casseroles, lasagna, taco bake, and warmed up meat and cheese sliders have been big hits. We have recipes if you need ideas.
- Lunch should serve approximately 25-30 people.
- Please deliver in disposable dishes we can keep.
- We can divide portions after you deliver, or you can do that before you deliver.
We will schedule your delivery day. When you are scheduled, you can deliver lunch to our address between 9:15 - 11 a.m. We are on the second floor of the building, and you will need to be buzzed in at the top of the stairs or at the elevator. This is not an in-person volunteer opportunity, and we do not offer community service hours.
Oasis Center serves youth and young adults to help them transition into a happy, healthy adulthood. We have over 18 programs, including programs that reinforce positive youth development in teens and serve youth in crisis. Our volunteers help us serve immigrant and refugee youth, LGBTQ+ youth, youth seeking leadership opportunities, and youth experiencing homelessness.
