Emergency Warming Shelter Volunteer
Come and help Clarksville Area Urban Ministries as we assist our local clients during these colder months. Shifts are 3:45pm-7pm; 7pm-11pm; 11pm-7am
Volunteers will be asked to:
- Assist in checking in clients
- Serving dinner and clean-up
- Helping clients with basic needs such as hygiene, towels, etc.
- Be there in case of an emergency
Urban Ministries is operating the only Emergency Warming Shelter for homeless clients in Montgomery County during extreme cold weather. By operating this shelter we are saving lives preventing people from freezing.
Clarksville Area Urban Ministries also has a volunteer need for overnight volunteer assistance. This shift runs 11pm to 7am the following morning. If you are interested in this opportunity, please click here to learn more and to express interest.
